*🌷. తాత్పర్యం : ఇంద్రియార్థముల పరిత్యాగము, మిథ్యాహంకార రాహిత్యము, జన్మమృత్యుజరా వ్యాధుల దోషమును గుర్తించుట,*
*🌷. భాష్యము : చతుర్వింశతి తత్త్వములచే (అంశములచే) తయారైన ఆచ్ఛాదనము వంటి దేహమునందు జీవుడు చిక్కుబడి యున్నాడు. ఇచ్చట తెలుపబడిన జ్ఞానము అనునది అతడు దాని నుండి బయట పడుటకు మార్గమై యున్నది. ఎనిమిదవ శ్లోకంలో పేర్కొన్నట్లుగా ఆధ్యాత్మిక గురువును అంగీకరించే సూత్రం చాలా అవసరం. భక్తి సేవలో పాల్గొనేవారికి కూడా ఇది చాలా ముఖ్యమైనది. ఒక మంచి ఆధ్యాత్మిక గురువును అంగీకరించినప్పుడు అతీంద్రియ జీవితం ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. భగవంతుని యొక్క సర్వోన్నత వ్యక్తి, శ్రీ కృష్ణుడు, ఈ జ్ఞాన ప్రక్రియ నిజమైన మార్గం అని ఇక్కడ స్పష్టంగా చెప్పారు. ఇంతకు మించిన ఊహాగానాలు ఏమీ అర్ధం కావు.*
*కనుక శ్రీకృష్ణుని భక్తియుక్త సేవను స్వీకరింపనిచో లేక అంగీకరింప లేక పోయినచో ఇతర తొమ్మిది జ్ఞానప్రక్రియలు విలువ రహితములు కాగలవు. కాని సంపూర్ణ కృష్ణ భావనలో శ్రీకృష్ణుని భక్తియుత సేవను స్వీకరించినచో మనుజుని యందు మిగిలిన పంతొమ్మిది అంశములు అప్రయత్నముగా వృద్ధి నొందగలవు.*
*మిథ్యాహంకారమనగా దేహమునే ఆత్మయని భావించుట. మనుజుడు తాను దేహమును కానని, ఆత్మనని తెలిసినప్పుడు వాస్తవ అహంకారమునకు వచ్చును. అహంకారమనునది సత్యమైనది. అనగా మిథ్యాహంకారమే నిరసించబడుచున్నది గాని అహంకారము కాదు.*
*ఈ జన్మము, మృత్యువు, ముసలితనము మరియు వ్యాధుల యందలి దుఖమును తలచుచు భౌతికజీవితమునందు నిరాశ మరియు వైరాగ్యదృష్టిని కలిగియుండనిదే మన ఆధ్యాత్మికజీవనము నందు పురోగతికి ప్రేరణము లభింపదు.*

*09. indriyārtheṣu vairāgyam anahaṅkāra eva ca*
*janma-mṛtyu-jarā-vyādhi- duḥkha-doṣānudarśanam*
*🌷 Translation : Renunciation of the objects of sense gratification; absence of false ego; the perception of the evil of birth, death, old age and disease;*
*🌹 Purport : The embodied soul is entrapped by the body, which is a casing made of the twenty-four elements, and the process of knowledge as described here is the means to get out of it. But if one takes to devotional service in full Kṛṣṇa consciousness, the other nineteen items automatically develop within him. The principle of accepting a spiritual master, as mentioned in the eighth verse, is essential. Even for one who takes to devotional service, it is most important. Transcendental life begins when one accepts a bona fide spiritual master. The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, clearly states here that this process of knowledge is the actual path. Anything speculated beyond this is nonsense.
*Cleanliness is essential for making advancement in spiritual life. There are two kinds of cleanliness: external and internal.*
*False ego means accepting this body as oneself. When one understands that he is not his body and is spirit soul, he comes to his real ego. Ego is there. False ego is condemned, but not real ego.*

*పుష్పదంతుడిట్లు పలికెను- మహేశుడు చెప్పిన సందేశమును నేను నీకు విన్నవించితిని. ఓ రాక్షసరాజా! శంభుని వాక్యము ఎన్నటికీ పొల్లు పోదు (15). నేను నా ప్రభువగు హరుని వద్దకు శీఘ్రముగా చేరవలెనని ఆకాంక్షించుచున్నాను. నేను అచటకు వెళ్లి శంభునకు ఏమని చెప్పవలెను? నీ సమాధానమును ఇప్పుడు చెప్పుము (16).*

11. Now, give back their kingdom to the gods and their authority. If not, fight with me, the greatest of the good warriors.
12. The gods have sought refuge in me, the lord of the gods and the benefactor of the good. I the infuriated will certainly slay you.
13. I am Śiva, the destroyer. I have granted protection to all the gods. I am the holder of the chastising rod for the wicked and favourably disposed to those who seek refuge in me.
14. O lord of Dānavas, consider and let me know one of the two alternatives specifically, whether you will return the kingdom or fight.
Puṣpadanta said:
15. O lord of Dānavas, what has been stated by Śiva has been conveyed to you. Śiva’s words have never gone in vain.
16. I wish to return to my lord Śiva immediately. After going back what shall I tell Śiva, you clearly let me know.
Sanatkumāra said:—

*🕉 This is the work if the meditator: to find the thread. 🕉*
*The world is in a constant flux, it is riverlike. It flows, but behind all this flow, change, flux, there must be a thread running that keeps everything together. Change is not possible without something remaining absolutely unchanging. Change can exist only together with a nonchanging element, otherwise things will fall apart. Life is like a garland: You don't see the thread that runs through the flowers. but it is there, holding them together. If the thread were not there, the flowers would fall apart; there would be a heap of flowers but no garland. And existence is not a heap, it is a very well-knit pattern. Things are changing, but some unchanging element keeps a cosmic law behind it all.*
*That cosmic law is called sadashiva, the eternal God, the timeless God, the nonchanging God. And that is the work of the meditator: to find the thread. There are only two types of people. One gets too enchanted by the flowers and forgets the thread. He lives a life that cannot have any lasting value or significance, because whatever he does will vanish. Today he will make it, tomorrow it will be gone. It will be making castles of sand or launching boats of paper. The second type of person searches for the thread and devotes his whole life to that which always abides; he is never a loser.*
