పుణ్య విషయములను వినుట, ప్రశంసించుట గలది శ్రీమాత. పుణ్యమగు కథలను వినుట పుణ్య శ్రవణము. శ్రీమద్రామాయణము, శ్రీమద్భాగవతము, శ్రీమహాభారతము కథలను ప్రవచించునపుడు అచట శ్రీమాత కూడ చేరి వినును. అట్లే తన కథలను భక్తులు ప్రవచించుకొనునపుడు శ్రీమాత వినును. శాశ్వత కీర్తివంతులగు మహాత్ముల కథలను వినునపుడు కూడ ఆమె ఉత్సాహముతో వినును. హరి కథలు, శివ కథలు, దేవతా విజయములు యిత్యాది ఉపాఖ్యానములను వినినపుడు కూడ ఉత్సాహముతో వినును. అనురక్తితో శ్రవణము చేయును. పుణ్య కథలను వినుటయందు శ్రీమాతయే ఉత్సాహపడి నపుడు వాటియం దాసక్తి లేనివారు ఎంతటి దురదృష్టవంతులు.

Shrimata is the one who listens to and praises pious things. Listening to pious stories is pious listening. Srimata also joins and listens when the stories of Srimadramayana, Srimadbhagavatam and Srimahabharata are narrated. Shrimata also listens to the devotees prophesying her stories. Even when she listens to the stories of eternally famous Mahatmas, she listens with enthusiasm.
