హరినామ సంకీర్తనము కలికల్మష నాశనమని, మరియొక గతి లేదని చైతన్య మహాప్రభువు ఘంటా పథముగ తెలిపినాడు. హరి యనగా దిగివచ్చు దివ్యత్వము అని అర్థము. 'యత్ర యత్ర రఘునాథ కీర్తనం' అను శ్లోక మందరికినీ తెలియును. రామాయణ శ్రవణ సమయమున హనుమంతుని సాన్నిధ్య ముండును. భాగవత శ్రవణమున నారదాది మహర్షుల సాన్నిధ్య ముండును. దేవతా కథలు, మహాత్ముల కథలు అప్రయత్నముగ సాన్నిధ్య మందించును. ఈ రహస్యము తెలిసిన పెద్దలు ఏకాహములని, సప్తాహములని, సత్రయాగములని యేర్పరచుకొని దివ్య సాన్నిధ్యమును గ్రోలుదురు. కావున పుణ్య శ్రవణము, కీర్తనము ప్రధానము.

🌻 544. 'Punyashravana Kirtana' - 4 🌻
Chaitanya Mahaprabhu reiterated that Harinama Sankirtana is the only way for destruction of Kali's toxicity and there is no other way. Hari means the descending divinity. Everybody knows the hymn 'Yatra Yatra Raghunatha Keertanam'. During the hearing of Ramayana, the proximity of Lord Hanuman is there. Listening to the Bhagavata, the sages Narada and others are in close proximity. The stories of deities and the stories of the great souls give proximity without effort. Elders who know this secret perform Ekahams, Saptahs and Satrayagas and cultivate divine communion. Therefore, pious listening and chanting are important.
