అనారోగ్యములు విజృంభించి వికృతముగ తాండవము చేయుచున్నవి. స్వార్థము పెచ్చుపెరిగి కాంక్షలు వికారమై గోచరించు చున్నవి. ఇది యంతయూ కలి కల్మషముగ పెద్దలు దర్శింతురు. ఇట్టి కల్మషములను హరించు శక్తి ఏ ఒక్కరికినీ లేదు. కావున కలి కల్మష నాశిని యగు శ్రీమాతయే శరణ్యము. భగవన్నామ సంకీర్తన మొక్కటియే ఈ కల్మషములను పారద్రోల కలదు. ఎలుగెత్తి నామ సంకీర్తన కూడ చేయని దుస్థితి యందు జీవులు పడి యున్నారు. దైవనామ సంకీర్తనము వలన కల్మషము లన్నింటినీ బహిష్కరింప వచ్చును.

Diseases are rampant and ugly. Selfishness increases and desires become visible ugly. These are all seen by elders as the defects of Kali. No one has the power to destroy these defects. Therefore Kali Kalmasha Nashini, the destroyer of the defects of Kali, Shrimata is the refuge. Continuous chanting of her name alone can remove these impurities. Living beings are in such a predicament that they do not even chant god's name openly. All impurities can be banished by chanting the Divine Name.
