🌻 6. ప్రతిచోటా దేవతలు ఉంటారు 🌻
జీవితపు అస్థిరమైన విషయాల వెనుక ఆధ్యాత్మిక నేపథ్యాన్ని గుర్తించడం నిజానికి ఆరాధన యొక్క ఉద్దేశం. దీనినే వేద సంహితలలో శోభించబడిన దైవాలు లేదా దేవతలు అని పిలుస్తారు. ప్రతిచోటా దేవతలు ఉన్నారు. చెట్టును పూజించవచ్చు, రాయిని పూజించవచ్చు, నదిని పూజించవచ్చు, పర్వతాన్ని పూజించవచ్చు, సూర్యుడు, చంద్రుడు, నక్షత్రాలను పూజించవచ్చు. పూజా వస్తువుగా దేనినైనా పూజించవచ్చు. ఎందుకంటే ఈ ప్రపంచంలోని బాహ్య రూపానికి సంబంధించిన ఈ చిహ్నం వెనుక, ఈ రూపాల రూపంలో నిగూఢంగా ఒక దైవత్వం ఉంది. ఇది వేద సంహితల ముఖ్య సూత్రం.
మనం వేదాలను చదివితే, ప్రతి మంత్రం, ప్రతి శ్లోకం, పైన పేర్కొన్న వివిధ పేర్లతో నియమించబడిన కొన్ని దైవాలకు ప్రార్థన అని మనం కనుగొంటాము: ఇంద్రుడు, మిత్రుడు, వరుణుడు, అగ్ని మొదలైనవాటికి మన స్వంత భాష, శైలి లేదా సాంస్కృతిక నేపథ్యాలకు అనుగుణంగా మనం వాటికి ఏ పేరైనా పెట్టవచ్చు. మనం ఏ పేరు పెట్టాం అనేది కాదు, కనిపించే ఈ విషయాల వెనుక ఏదో ఉంది. మన పైన ఏదో ఉందన్న తృప్తిలో మన హృదయం పులకిస్తుంది. మతం, ఆధ్యాత్మికత లేదా తత్వశాస్త్రం, ఈ పదం యొక్క నిజమైన అర్థంలో, తనకన్నా ఉన్నతమైనది ఉంది అని గుర్తించి దానితోపాటు ఒకరి వ్యక్తిత్వం యొక్క పరిమితిని ఏకకాలంలో గుర్తించడం.

🌻 6. Everywhere there are Gods 🌻
The recognition of a spiritual background behind the transitory phenomena of life is actually the object of worship. This is known as the divinities, or gods, who are adumbrated in the Veda Samhitas. Everywhere there are gods. We can worship a tree, we can worship a stone, we can worship a river, we can worship a mountain, we can worship the sun, the moon, the stars. Anything is okay as an object of worship because behind this emblem of an outward form of things in this world, there is a divinity masquerading as these forms. This is the highlighting principle of the Veda Samhitas.
If we read the Vedas, we will find that every mantra, every verse, is a prayer to some divinity above, designated by various names: Indra, Mitra, Varuna, Agni, etc. We may give them any other name, according to our own language, style or cultural background. The point is not what name we give, but that there is something behind visible phenomena. Our heart throbs in a state of satisfaction of the fact that there is something above us. Religion, spirituality or philosophy, in the true sense of the term, is the recognition of something above oneself and a simultaneous recognition of the finitude of one's personality.
