🌴 7. మానవజన్మను పొందే జీవుని గతిని వర్ణించుట - 24 🌴
24. పతితో భువ్యసృఙ్మూత్రె విష్ఠాభూరివ చేష్టతే|
రోరూయతి గతే జ్ఞానే విపరీతాం మతిం గతః॥
తాత్పర్యము : పిమ్మట ఆ శిశువు తల్లియొక్క రక్తములో, మూత్రములో పడి మలములోని కీటకమువలె గిలగిల కొట్టుకొనును. గర్భవాసము నందు ఉన్నప్పుడు కలిగిన జ్ఞానము అంతయు నశించి అతడు విపరీతగతిని (దేహాభిమాన రూపమైన అజ్ఞానదశను) పొందును. అప్పుడు (ఆ స్థితిలోగల శిశువు) బిగ్గరగా పదేపదే ఏడ్చును.

24. patito bhuvy asṛṅ-miśraḥ viṣṭhā-bhūr iva ceṣṭate
rorūyati gate jñāne viparītāṁ gatiṁ gataḥ
MEANING : The child thus falls on the ground, smeared with stool and blood, and plays just like a worm germinated from the stool. He loses his superior knowledge and cries under the spell of māyā.
