30. భూతైః పంచభిరారబ్ధే దేహే దేహ్యబుధోఽసకృత్|
అహం మమేత్యసద్గ్రాహః కరోతి కుమతిర్మతిమ్॥
తాత్పర్యము : అజ్ఞాని ఐన ఆ జీవుడు పంచ భూతాత్మకమైన ఈ దేహము నందలి మిథ్యాభిమాన కారణముగా తనలో నిరంతరము అహంకార, మమకారములను పెంచుకొనును.
వ్యాఖ్య : అజ్ఞానం యొక్క విస్తరణ ఈ పద్యంలో వివరించబడింది. పంచభూతాలతో నిర్మితమై ఉన్న తన భౌతిక దేహాన్ని నేనుగా గుర్తించడం మొదటి అజ్ఞానం, రెండవది దేహసంబంధం వల్ల ఏదైనా దానిని తనదిగా అంగీకరించడం. ఈ విధంగా, అజ్ఞానం విస్తరిస్తుంది. జీవుడు శాశ్వతమైనది, కానీ అతను అశాశ్వతమైన విషయాలను అంగీకరించడం వల్ల, తన ఆసక్తిని తప్పుగా గుర్తించడం వల్ల, అతను అజ్ఞానంలోకి నెట్టబడ్డాడు మరియు అందువల్ల అతను భౌతిక బాధలకు గురవుతాడు.

🌴 7. Lord Kapila's Instructions on the Movements of the Living Entities - 30 🌴
30. bhūtaiḥ pañcabhir ārabdhe dehe dehy abudho 'sakṛt
ahaṁ mamety asad-grāhaḥ karoti kumatir matim
MEANING : By such ignorance the living entity accepts the material body, which is made of five elements, as himself. With this misunderstanding, he accepts nonpermanent things as his own and increases his ignorance in the darkest region.
PURPORT : The expansion of ignorance is explained in this verse. The first ignorance is to identify one's material body, which is made of five elements, as the self, and the second is to accept something as one's own due to a bodily connection. In this way, ignorance expands. The living entity is eternal, but because of his accepting nonpermanent things, misidentifying his interest, he is put into ignorance, and therefore he suffers material pangs.
