41. యాం మన్యతే పతిం మోహన్మన్మాయామృషభాయతీమ్|
స్త్రీత్వం స్త్రీసంగతః ప్రాప్తో విత్తాపత్యగృహప్రదమ్ ॥
తాత్పర్యము : స్త్రీయెడ ఆసక్తుడై, అంత్యకాలమున స్త్రీనే స్మరించు జీవునకు స్త్రీ స్వభావమే అబ్బును. అట్టి జీవుడు పురుష రూపములో ప్రతీతమగునట్టి నా మాయను ధనము, పుత్రుడు, గృహము మొదలగు వాటిని పతిగా అనగా సర్వస్వముగా భావించును.
వ్యాఖ్య : ఈ సూత్రం నుండి ఒక స్త్రీ తన (ఆమె) పూర్వ జన్మలో పురుషుడిగా ఉండి ఉండవచ్చని, మరియు అతని భార్యతో ఉన్న అనుబంధం కారణంగా, అతను ఇప్పుడు స్త్రీ శరీరాన్ని కలిగి ఉంటాడని తెలుస్తోంది. భగవద్గీత దీనిని నిర్ధారిస్తుంది; ఒక వ్యక్తి మరణ సమయంలో అతను ఏమనుకుంటున్నాడో దాని ప్రకారం తన తదుపరి జన్మను పొందుతాడు. ఎవరైనా తన భార్యతో చాలా అనుబంధంగా ఉంటే, అతను సహజంగా మరణించే సమయంలో తన భార్య గురించి ఆలోచిస్తాడు మరియు అతని తదుపరి జీవితంలో అతను ఒక స్త్రీ శరీరాన్ని తీసుకుంటాడు. అలాగే స్త్రీ మరణ సమయంలో తన భర్త గురించి తలచుకుంటే సహజంగానే ఆమె తదుపరి జన్మలో పురుషుని శరీరాన్ని పొందుతుంది. ఒక స్త్రీ తన భర్తతో ఉన్న అనుబంధం ఆమెను తన తదుపరి జన్మలో పురుషుని శరీరానికి ఎదిగేలా చేయవచ్చు, కానీ ఒక స్త్రీతో పురుషుని అనుబంధం అతనిని దిగజార్చుతుంది మరియు అతని తదుపరి జీవితంలో అతను స్త్రీ శరీరాన్ని పొందుతాడు. భగవద్గీతలో చెప్పబడినట్లుగా, స్థూల మరియు సూక్ష్మ శరీరాలు రెండూ దుస్తులు అని మనం ఎల్లప్పుడూ గుర్తుంచుకోవాలి.

🌴 7. Lord Kapila's Instructions on the Movements of the Living Entities - 41 🌴
41. yāṁ manyate patiṁ mohān man-māyām ṛṣabhāyatīm
strītvaṁ strī-saṅgataḥ prāpto vittāpatya-gṛha-pradam
MEANING : A living entity who, as a result of attachment to a woman in his previous life, has been endowed with the form of a woman, foolishly looks upon māyā in the form of a man, her husband, as the bestower of wealth, progeny, house and other material assets.
PURPORT : From this verse it appears that a woman is also supposed to have been a man in his (her) previous life, and due to his attachment to his wife, he now has the body of a woman. Bhagavad-gītā confirms this; a man gets his next life's birth according to what he thinks of at the time of death. If someone is too attached to his wife, naturally he thinks of his wife at the time of death, and in his next life he takes the body of a woman. Similarly, if a woman thinks of her husband at the time of death, naturally she gets the body of a man in the next life. A woman's attachment to her husband may elevate her to the body of a man in her next life, but a man's attachment to a woman will degrade him, and in his next life he will get the body of a woman. We should always remember, as it is stated in Bhagavad-gītā, that both the gross and subtle material bodies are dresses.
