The 4th Sutra of the Shiva Sutras, "Jnana Adhishtaanam Maatrika," explores the profound relationship between sound (Shabda Brahma) and the supreme mother (Maatrika) as the foundation of knowledge. It delves into the symbolic connection between Shiva and Shakti through the union of vowels and consonants and the role of Shakti in leading to ultimate liberation by overcoming the three impurities that cause limited knowledge and ignorance.
